you know it's serious; we're getting closer

Friday morning, I went to spin class. When my alarm sounded at 5:15am, I honestly thought about skipping it. But I had already written my high five for Friday post and mentioned going to spin class. So I knew I had to go. There was no backing out.

The class was hard but also easy at the same time. I find myself thinking that I am still not strong, that I can only do the things I could do when I first started this journey. That way of thinking keeps me from pushing myself. Spin class reminded me of that because I was able to do a lot more than I thought I would be. And when I finished, I saw my calorie burn had not been quite as high as I had hoped for and expected.

The reason why is simple. I am much stronger, much more fit, much more capable than I was when I walked into my first spin class. And I have to start acting like it.

It's not just with spin class. The same can be said for running, for strength training, for everything.

I have to hold myself accountable. And by putting my plans for work outs on the blog, I do just that. So here it is - my plan for the next week starting today.

It's out there. So now I have to stick to it. No matter how tired I am or how much my like jell-o my legs feel. After all, this is just another way to meet my goal of being in one-derland by the time I host Christmas dinner in my new house and sit in front of the Christmas tree to open presents from Santa Clause.
